The in-cap unit performs automatically, filling powders and/or pellets into hard gelatine capsules of various sizes from capsule size 00 to size 4.  The basic machine includes parts to handle one capsule size and consists of :

• Machine frame in anodized aluminium and panels in stainless steel

• Mechanical driving group  with alternate motion completely closed by stainless steel panels and ventilated by a fan.

• Carousel with indexing wheel having 8 positions for capsule handling

• Vacuum pump positioned inside the machine, creating a depression in order to separate capsule body from cap – capacity 6 m3. This operation is controlled by a vacuum-meter (vacuum sensor) which is protected by a filter to prevent powder arriving to it.

• POWDER DOSING GROUP COMPLETE WITH UPPER HOPPER (3 l) WITH ADJUSTABLE OUTLET VALVE; LOWER POWDER HOPPER (0,70 l) INCLUDING LEVELLING DEVICE FOR POWDER BED ADJUSTMENT, DOSING DISC AND 4 PINS FOR POWDER COMPRESSION PLUS A FURTHER PIN TO TRANSFER  THE SLUG INTO THE CAPSULE BODY. A POWDER RECOVERY TANK IS ALSO PLACED ON THE MACHINE

THE MACHINE CARRIES OUT AUTOMATICALLY THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS IN THE 8 POSITIONS OF THE CAROUSEL :

1. Cleaning station of bushings and carousel plate.

2. Orientating and feeding of capsule  from hopper and cap separation from capsule body. During the transfer of the capsule from the 2° to the  3°  station, checking of the capsule’s cap separation is performed.

胶囊自料斗中下料，方向调整并实施胶囊体帽分离。在胶囊从第二工位移动到第三工位的时候，检查是否已经实施体帽分离
 

3. Ejection of capsules not opened

剔除没有分离的胶囊
 

4. Free position ( for an eventual second dosage : pellets for instance)

5. Pellets dosing group

6. Free position for change size operations
